Using Event Fundraiser

Event Fundraiser template enables you to monitor the progress against the targets. Begin with setting the name of event, mode of payments and contact preference in the Setting sheet. Then record the set target in Fundraiser sheet . This sheet provides a graphical description of the funds received against the target. You can easily monitor progress at any point of time by reading the overall achievement percentage. You can also watch the funds collected during a selected period.

All you need to do is to record each transaction in the table on the Fundraiser sheet. Here you can record the Date of transaction, Name of contributor, Amount contributed, Payment Type along with the payment reference. You can also record your comments with each contribution, like if the contributor can be approached again for other events or they want the details of contribution and contributor remain discrete, etc.

During the fundraising events you might want to record the contributor's personal details like address along with their email , phone number and preferred contact method. This is sometimes required when you manage multiple fundraising events and you need to approach some of the contributors for the other events.

This template also secures you legally from any unaccounted money complications. With this type of tracking method, you will always stay organised and have a reliable record of transactions to answer all queries at any point of time, even in future.
