Open Excel

In cell A1 type Mountains.
In cell B1 type Height in Feet

Under Mountains, type the following data:

Under Height in Feet, type the following data:

Now make a graph of the results.

Highlight the cells you want in your graph. Include headings.

Click on the Chart Wizard.

Click to select a chart type- Column.

and chart sub-type.

Click Next.

Click Next again.

Make sure the Titles tab is selected. Under Chart title type "Heights of Famous Mountains."

Click the button beside As New Sheet. Click Finish.

When your graph is finished, you probably won't be able to see all the Mountain names. To change this: Double click on the names. Click the Alignment tab. Click on the square that stands for the angle you want your text to have. Click OK.

To change the bar colors double click on it.

Click the Patterns tab to change the line style, color, and weight (thickness).
