Now make a graph of the results. Highlight the cells you want in your graph. Include headings. (for example, months) |
Click on the Chart Wizard. |
Click to select a chart type and chart sub-type. Click Next. ![]() |
Make sure the Series tab is selected. Click Series 1. Under name type Rainfall in Inches. ![]() |
If there is a Series 2 - Click the Remove button. Click Next. ![]() |
Make sure the Titles tab is selected. Under Chart title type "Yearly Rainfall in Manville." Under Category (x) Axis type "Month." Under Category (y) Axis type "Rainfall in Inches." ![]() |
Click the Legend tab. Click to uncheck Show Legend. Click Next. ![]() |
Click the button beside As New Sheet. Click Finish. ![]() |
Your graph should look like this. Notice you cannot see all the months. ![]() |
To change this: Double click on the months. Click the Alignment tab. Click on the square that stands for the angle you want your text to have. Click OK. You can also make any other changes to the text by clicking on the other tabs. ![]() |
Now you can see all the months.
